How do I get today’s feed rate?

1. Call or WhatsApp the mill on 0311 1555136 (UAN), Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. You can also send a WhatsApp message.
2. Tell us the feed, the quantity and your town. The mill replies with today’s rate and the delivery options for your area.
3. Or ask the mill about a dealer near you. The mill can tell you if a Vital Feeds dealer serves your area; if there is none near you yet, it supplies farms directly.

Which feeds can I ask about?

Most calls are for the poultry feed rate today, the broiler feed rate, the layer feed rate and the wanda rate; the mill quotes all of them, plus fish feed, on the same call.

Why do feed rates change?

The poultry feed price in Pakistan, like the rate of any bag of feed, is set mainly by the cost of its raw materials, and those move with harvests, world markets and the exchange rate. The main drivers are:

• The rupee–dollar rate — soybean meal and many additives are imported.
• Freight — moving raw materials to the mill and feed to your farm.
